Álvaro Sánchez has an extensive career as an entrepreneur and investor. He has created over 15 companies in the last 20 years in various sectors such as communication, food industry, real estate and services.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and graduated with honors from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City. He owned his MBA title in 1997 at IE Business School in Madrid. During his studies, he received the “Lease Plan” award for the best entrepreneurial Business Project from his intake.
From 1998 to 2021 he was President, CEO and Executive Director of Corporate Relations of IE University and Business School in Mexico. He has completed several Executive Programs at IE Business School. Currently, he is President of the Board of SioSi Alimentos, Member of the Board of Yumma Avocado, Co-Founder of Eterna Land Fund and Board Member of Pro Corp and Pro Equity. He was member of COMCE (Mexican Council for Foreign Commerce) under The Bilateral Committee held between Mexico and Spain from 1999 to 2005. He was also a Board Member of The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Mexico from 2006 to 2010.
